When choosing an icon for a5MEDIA, we knew that we had to find something that not only represented us, but our clients' ideals for success as well.

The Siamese Fighting Fish, or Betta Splendens, is a small fish that lives in tropics of South East Asia. They are colourful, beautiful, and highly aggressive.

In the wild, they live in the puddles that form when large oxen hoof prints fill with water. Tiny, yes, but these fish will ferociously defend their little puddle against all invaders.

To us, the fighting fish is a symbol of small business and of entrepreneurs: always living with the threat of larger forces, yet never giving up without a fight!
